I graduated with my Master’s in Nursing from Washington State University in 2002. I am nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and have over 8 years experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in women’s health; 8 years as a Registered Nurse prior to that in various clinic and hospital positions. I am an active member of various local and NP groups.

My husband Erik and I have three young girls who keep us very busy in our "off time". We especially love to ride our bikes, spend time with our pets, and travel to foreign countries together.

My decision to become a family nurse practitioner (FNP) came while working as a registered nurse in various emergency departments. I wanted to work in primary care setting where I could offer continuity of care to people of all ages. In 2001, I graduated from Gonzaga University with a Master of Science in Nursing. Since then I have worked as an FNP in a variety of settings.

My husband and I have two school-aged children. We are involved in various community projects and we also enjoy cooking, playtime, gardening, reading and travel.

As Nurse Practitioners we have completed advanced education (a minimum of a Master's degree) and are nationally certified and trained to diagnose and manage common medical conditions in men, women and children. Nurse Practitioners provide a wide range of health care services and we can function as your primary health care provider (PCP).

Nurse Practitioner's core values are:

  • Individualized care
  • Focus on patient's illness as well as the effect the illness will have on the lives of the patients and their families
  • Nurse Practitioners make prevention, wellness, and patient education priorities; this means more time spent with your practitioner
  • We inform patients about their health and encourage active participation from our patients; which includes decision-making
